Who we are and who these terms apply to

These terms apply to everyone who uses MangoFolio: training providers' staff, learners and employers with an account, and employers and witnesses who sign or add evidence through a link, without an account. Training providers also have a separate agreement with us, which takes priority over these terms where the two differ.

By signing in or using MangoFolio, you agree to these terms.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details safe and don't share them. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Use two-factor authentication or a passkey if your organisation asks you to.
• If you think someone else has used your account, or you spot anything else that looks like misuse, tell your training provider or us at [contact email] straight away.

Using MangoFolio properly

You must not:

• upload anything unlawful, offensive or harmful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
• present someone else's work as your own. Evidence must be genuine and must be your own work unless it is clearly marked as coming from someone else, such as a witness testimony;
• try to access information you are not entitled to see, or get round the limits of your role;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or break into MangoFolio, or upload anything containing viruses or malicious code;
• use MangoFolio to send unsolicited messages.

Training providers and learners

Each training provider is responsible for its learners' records, for who has access to them and for how its staff use MangoFolio. If you are a learner, your relationship about your programme, your assessment and your qualification is with your training provider, not with us. Questions about your programme should go to them.

Your content

You, or your training provider, own what you upload. You give us permission to store, copy, display and process it as needed to run MangoFolio, for example to show it to your assessor or include it in an audit pack. We don't use your content for anything else.

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence (AI) to suggest wording, summarise information or point out possible links to qualification criteria.

• AI suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. Check them before you rely on them.
• A person always stays responsible for every judgement. MangoFolio never makes an assessment decision on its own.
• Only use AI features with information you are allowed to share for that purpose.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep MangoFolio available and working well, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may need to take it offline for maintenance, and we will try to give notice when we can.

We improve MangoFolio over time, so features may change. We won't remove anything your training provider relies on without telling them first.

The demo site is for trying MangoFolio out only. Don't put real personal information on it: it is reset every night and everything added is deleted.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Suspending or ending use

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts MangoFolio or other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

If you leave your programme or organisation, your training provider decides what happens to your account and records. Records are handled under the provider's agreement with us and our privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when they last changed. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you through MangoFolio or by email before it takes effect.
